 New Resident Enrollments

Welcome to Fenton Area Public Schools!
If you are new to the district this year and have not already begun the enrollment process, you should contact the Fenton Administrative Office (3100 Owen Road, 810-591-4700).  Office Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Children enrolling/registering to attend an elementary school in the fall of the following year will not be officially assigned to a school until mid-August.  Placement is done according to current class sizes in each of the elementary schools.  Students living in a limited walking area or having siblings in a building will be given top priority.  We cannot guarantee placement into a particular school of your choice.

Please bring the child's birth certificate, two proofs of residency, immunization records, custody court papers (if there are restrictions on either parent's access), and social security number (last four digits) to speed registration.
Please click here for link to Enrollment web page.

Further questions may be directed to Chris Hay at 810-591-4708 or

 MEAP Scores

MEAP Scores

Just recently, the State of Michigan released the fall MEAP scores to district officials only. The scores are still embargoed by the State Department and will be released to the public when finalized.

This year, The State Department of Education approved new MEAP “cut scores”.  A “cut score” is the score that separates test takers into various categories such as advanced, proficient, partially proficient and not proficient.  The new cut scores are higher and “raise the bar” for our students.  They are intended to be a better measure of student progress toward being career and college ready.  Please see the attached information sheet so that you will better understand the scores when they are released.  As always we are proud of our Fenton students and staff when it comes to our state standardized testing.
